Ruth was raised in the Niagara Region of Ontario. The sport of Rowing was a huge influence in her life which led her to Victoria where she attended UVIC as a Visual Arts student.
Returning to the east coast mid career to raise her two sons, Ruth also took the very focused and entirely dedicated opportunity to sculpt her physique over a decade to win The World’s Top Women’s Bodybuilder in 2019 and 2020.
As a single mother, Ruth was trying to sell her own home and wondered why she could not find a Realtor that looked after her needs in the way that suited her well. She took over the process and sold her home privately. With her own success, plus wanting to also help others in the same ways, in 2008 Ruth decided to become a licensed Real Estate Professional in Halifax, NS. Upon moving back to Victoria, BC in 2017, she transitioned her Realtor license with her to where she now resides and builds her professional real estate career for herself and her sons future.

Her own Gallery HopkinsonArt is located in Langford at 720 Station Ave #108 Hours Thursday to Sunday 11-4pm and she also has many works for sale in Port Renfrew at Wild Renfrew with Hours Daily 11-6pm.
